Crigglestone Parish Council owns the central woodland area at Willow Garth. The Council maintains the grass and trees which are protected by a Tree Preservation Order.
Other areas maintained by the Parish Council include:

• The amenity area on the corner of Durkar Lane and Howard Crescent
• A small area of verge on Baptist Hill
• The grounds around the Village Institute
• The planting around the Durkar stone
